PASTORAL GREETING | WELCOME! I am thankful that you have accessed our website. I'd like to introduce you to our ministry, and I encourage you to let us know if there is any way we can be of help to you.
I have been Pastor of Granite City Baptist Church (GCBC) for 31 years. The Lord has blessed us with 12 acres of land, a church, gymnasium, and educational wings in 1990. Part of our philosophy is to provide a home, school, and church with the same doctrine and objectives for our children. Twenty-nine years ago the Lord directed our church to start Granite City Baptist Academy, and all four of my children have graduated from the Academy, along with 46 other young people. Besides the Academy, GCBC provides a number of ministries for children, ladies and men, a bookstore, family counseling, a newspaper article on the first and third Saturday of each month entitled, “Pastor, I Have a Question”, and a weekly radio broadcast of the same title on WJON 1240AM, at 8:10a.m. every Sunday morning.
